Dr. Chris is a registered GP and media doctor working in London.
He promotes the benefits of preventative healthcare which focus on maintaining the health and wellbeing of his patients to prevent any serious illnesses or diseases from occurring.
He continues to become more recognised in the industry as he grows his social media presence and TV appearances. However, the missing piece from his work was a strong brand experience and a website that would encapsulate all of his content into one accessible source of knowledge for all of his followers.
Dr. Chris is a good friend of mine so I jumped at the opportunity to work with him. My mission was to bring his brand to life and provide him with a website that he could easily manage as he creates more content for his community.

Dr. Chris' brand identity
After our initial kick off meeting,
it was clear that we needed to
run a full day workshop session
to understand Dr. Chris’ project offering and his values to
build the brand.
I designed the workshop to draw out these insights using a range of branding activities to help Dr. Chris think about what he stands for and how he wants to be presented as a brand.
These insights laid the foundations of what the website needed to achieve and to provide direction to define the brand identity.

Creating the platform to host Dr. Chris’ content
I explored different ways to tell
the story of his brand and what interesting ways we could present the content.
This was a great opportunity to discuss the general structure of the pages and annotate areas
that would help me create the copy brief for Dr. Chris to write
the content.

Exploring the brand identity
I created 4 mood boards that presented different colour schemes, font styles and images to get a sense of what would reflect
Dr. Chris' brand accurately.
The selected mood board then
gave us the direction to define
key elements of the website.

Creating the right content for the platform
Throughout the project, I helped Dr. Chris in creating copy for the website. Alongside this we needed a series of photographs to complement the content.

We organised a photoshoot to get all the photographs we needed for promotional items, recipes and workout pages.

Defining the brand identity
After some exploration using colour scheme and font pairing tools, I defined the colour scheme, typography and logo that would be used to visually define the brand and design the website.

Building the website with Wix.com
I built the website using Wix.com to make it easy for Dr. Chris to manage and upload the content.

This was an important consideration as he is looking to add content to the website on a weekly basis.

The Result
Dr. Chris George’s website went live in November 2021.
It is used as a platform to reach to 14k+ followers to promote his evidence-based approach to healthcare.
